After Your Procedure
Going Home
Your consultant-led discharge process ensures you leave with all the information and medication you need for a comfortable recovery.
Before You Leave
Your discharge plan is developed from the moment you are admitted.
A detailed letter for your GP outlining the treatment you received and any follow-up care required.
Comprehensive information about your treatment, including what was carried out and what to expect during recovery.
Our in-house pharmacist will provide any prescribed medication you need, along with clear dosage instructions.
Both verbal and written discharge instructions, ensuring a clear understanding of your post-procedure care plan.
At-Home Support
If you feel you may need additional support at home after your procedure, we recommend discussing this with your GP beforehand so appropriate arrangements can be made.
You must not drive if you have received sedation, anaesthesia, or undergone invasive surgery. A responsible adult must accompany you home from the clinic.
If you have received a general anaesthetic, you must have someone stay with you at home for at least 24 hours after your procedure. Do not operate machinery, drink alcohol, or make important decisions during this period.
